Omar Nakouzi

Omar joined RB&A Partners in 2023 bringing 7 years of international banking experience, including five years at Société Générale, where he worked on various assignments covering assets and liabilities management, scarce resources steering, and regulatory reporting.

Omar's experience in the banking sector includes auditing intraday liquidity and buffer calibration, covered bonds issuances, guaranteed Central Bank remittances, capital ratios adequacy as well as monitoring ECB-related regulations and reports.

While at SocGen, he closely collaborated with the regulators on diverse subjects related to the segregation of banking and trading books, FX hedging on the banking book, as well as G20 liquidity stress tests. Omar also contributed to the merger of Credit du Nord with SocGen.

Prior to SocGen, he completed multiple internships in France. He first joined the international retail banking team of BNP Paribas and worked on enhancing the customer digital experience of BGZ subsidiary in Poland. Omar's second internship was at HSBC, where he served as an assistant salesperson for equity derivatives products.

Omar also participated in multiple summer programs, including one at Audi Bank's private banking division and another at Blominvest’s research team in Lebanon.

Omar is a graduate of Paris Dauphine University and Sorbonne University, holding a double master's degree in financial markets and asset management.

He obtained his undergraduate degree in economics from Science-Po Paris University and Saint Joseph University in Lebanon.
