Prem Patel

Prem joined RB&A Partners in 2024, bringing over 6 years of experience in Finance and Private Credit, including 3 years at CVC Capital Partners where he focused on structured credit products namely Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLO) in the European and US markets.

Whilst at CVC Capital, he facilitated the deployment of 2 CLO Equity funds with US$ 1 bn of investor commitments which aided the growth in AUM by US$10 bn. He communicated with investors, many of whom were sovereign wealth funds regarding their ongoing commitments as well as future proposals.

He led the technical valuations team which was responsible for monitoring CLO equity funds totalling US$ 23 bn and assessing the underlying value of European and US deals by considering market conditions.

Prior to joining CVC Capital Partners Prem worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, leading assurance assignments on firms listed on Global Stock Exchanges, obtaining expertise in the Telecommunications and Pharmaceutical industries. He worked with the Capital Markets team on the IPO of IHS Holding Limited in New York conducting due diligence for the process.

Prem holds a joint-degree Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business from Henley Business School whilst completing several internships at PwC in London during this period and later went on to obtain a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant registered with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
